TownePlace Suites by Marriott, Redwood Shores:
In 2008 "home offices" will be installed in many of our rooms. Along with that will be new carpet, paint, lamps, decor, etc. in the guest rooms. Our lobby will also be renovated (new furniture, carpet, paint, etc.) offering 2 guest computers. The style of our front desk will be changing and will have a more "traditional" front desk look with a higher counter. We will also be adding what is called a "TowneMap" to our lobby. It is a map on the wall which will highlight area attractions, local airports, restaurants, etc. for our guests to have an accessible, easy to use resource getting acquainted with our area. We will also be adding more seating in our activity room and a flat screen television. We expect to have this completed by 6/30/08. For the second year in a row, Marriott awarded this property with Hotel of the Year, Gold Hotel and Least Problems Experienced.
