The America’s Cup comes to the Bay Area

The 34th America’s Cup sailing competition will come to the United States for the first time in 18 years. The competition will take place in the San Francisco Bay. “Bringing the racing to the people is a new priority” for the 2013 races, an official press release stated. This is the first time a spectator will be able to watch the races from shore.
