The Peninsula Symphony, a 90-member community orchestra led by Music Director and Conductor Mitchell Sardou Klein, celebrates its 62nd season of providing unique and first-class music to the Bay Area community. Costanoa Kids Camp is a safe, nurturing, fun and outdoor nature-based experience for Costanoa campers age 5-12. This is a great opportunity for kids to play games, learn about some of the local natural history and have an overall great time. Activities include nature walks, tide pooling, plant and animal identification, storytelling, bug hunting, games and arts and crafts. The careers of Zaccai and Luques Curtis have only really started, yet they have already come so far. City of San Mateo’s signature summer event. The City of San Mateo sponsors this event every year to provide you memorable summer evenings of FREE live music. This month's topic is "Inside the 2010 Governor's Race," with special guests Carla Marinucci, political reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle, and Phil Trounstine, co-publisher of CalBuzz, a popular political blog. The moderator for this engaging and timely discussion will be David Lesher, the Sacramento-based manager for Government Affairs at the Public Policy Institute of California. Ten percent of proceeds from dinner sales at Half Moon Bay Brewing Company that evening, before or after the "Inside the 2010 Governor's Race" forum, will be donated to Cabrillo Education Foundation.
