San Francisco Wine School¬†proudly presents¬†Battle of the Grapes¬†ūüćá Italy vs California¬†benefiting the¬†Museo Italo Americano¬†and¬†their Italian and Italian-American art and culture programs.¬† This live, virtual event hosted by Master Sommelier and Founder of San Francisco Wine School,¬†David Glancy, MS, CWE,¬†will¬†feature an 8-wine blind tasting of four Italian varietal wines, one¬†from Italy and one from California. Can you tell which is which?

Join David, special guest Shelley Lindgren, Owner/Wine Director of the highly regarded A16 Restaurant & Wine Bar, and your fellow attendees from the comfort of your own home as we all taste the wines together, learn the history of the grapes, the origin of the wines, and some blind tasting techniques to help us identify their region.

Tasting kits are included in the cost of the event.  Kits may be picked up at San Francisco Wine School free of charge or delivered in 43 states for an additional fee.  View wine pickup and delivery options.  Mixed cases will be available for sale through San Francisco Wine School after the event.

About The Museo Italo Americano

Founded in 1978 in San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood, the Museo Italo Americano is the preeminent museum in the United States devoted exclusively to showcasing Italian and Italian American art and culture.
