This aircraft carrier is now a museum. It has docent guides, a flight simulator, and elevator lift to the flight deck, and specialty items. Tours include "Heritage Tour" and "Flashlight Tour". Located less than 30 minutes from downtown San Francisco. The USS Hornet is a National Historical Landmark and is one of the most decorated ships in naval history (it participated in WWII and the Apollo 11 manned moon mission).
