About

We grow an incredible diversity of certified organic vegetables, fruits and cut flowers year-round, on 60 acres nestled at the end of a small agricultural valley in Pescadero, California. Now in our thirteenth growing year, we supply our farmers’ markets, CSA, farmstand, and wholesale accounts with the highest-quality produce available. We proudly send our small, dedicated resident staff to our markets and deliveries, ensuring a personal experience with real farmers. We specialize in strawberries, tomatoes, leafy greens and peppers, growing diverse varieties of impeccable quality that have gained us a loyal following throughout the Bay Area. On Saturdays and Sundays (11am-6pm) from May – October we also offer seasonal pick your own (strawberries and pumpkins).

Become a CSA member to receive a weekly (or biweekly) box of seasonal organic veggies and fruit, grown here at Blue House Farm and delivered to 25 neighborhood pickup sites around the Peninsula. We grow what we sell! Subscriptions are available year round.  Our CSA membership is weekly during the high season, from May through December. A biweekly option is also available. As things slow down, the subscription changes to every-other week throughout the winter months.  Enrollment begins with a 4 delivery deposit. After the first 4 pre-paid deliveries, you will be charged on a per box basis to continue deliveries up until the time that you choose to end your membership. The price for 2018 subscriptions is $24/box.

As a CSA member, you also have the option to “hold” your deliveries if you are going out of town or can’t pick up your box on a particular week. You can receive credit for the skipped delivery that you can apply towards a future delivery or “add-on” items like pastured eggs, flower bouquets, honey, salts and surplus fruit, like canning tomatoes. All members receive a weekly CSA e-newsletter which includes a list of what’s expected in the upcoming box, as well as critical information from the farm. We keep members up to date with what’s happening in our fields, and provide creative, seasonal recipes that make use of the vegetables in your box. Your membership also includes invitations to on-farm events in the spring and fall.
